Description

The rocket video features Michigan tech athletes and a winter carnival queen that went through Kingsford High School's High Power Rocketry Program.  There are two National Division Two All Academic Team Members several GLIAC All Academic Team Members.  A student who as part of the Aerospace Enterprise Team at MTU developed a nanosatellite as part of a national competition that is named Oculous (http://www.aerospace.mtu.edu/aeroweb/) Another student studying Biomedical engineering work in a group to help to develop a device to reduce swelling in the limbs of lympathatic  cancer patients.  This device is being tested at the University of Michigan Hospital now. the rocket was built to show at a national rocket launch what students are doing as they attend college and study areas of Science, Math, engineering and technology.
